At gScreen Computers, we have experienced a massive rise in email and phone calls from customers, beta testers and media, seeking more information from all corners of the globe. As we work to catch up and get back to everyone on each individual email we would like to thank you for your patience.
We do not yet know the exact release date, price or specs that will be available on the first Spacebook model. We do know the specs that we are planning at the current time, but those can change and will solidify when we go into production at the end of 2009.
We will release a 16-inch or a 17-inch first, followed by a 13-inch or a 14-inch. We will study customer feedback before we decide on model size for the smaller Spacebook.
The 15.4-inch Spacebook that has been shown by the media weighs 8.7-pounds and the 13.3-inch Spacebook weighs 5.6-pounds, both units have twin screens. The Spacebook gives the user the ability to run separate programs on each screen, thus increasing productivity for any user with any application that uses the Windows OS.
